Profile / the career story
A journey through exploration, data platforms, and the work of turning information into useful intelligence.
At UIT, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, I built the software-engineering foundation that would later support a career in data platforms and Business Intelligence.
My first roles across three companies gave me space to explore the technology industry before I found the data-focused work that would define my path.
This is where my data career began. Data Warehousing, ETL, Business Intelligence, and reporting systems were entirely new concepts—and became the technical foundation for everything that followed.
I stepped back to reassess my direction and explore technology in agriculture. Living and working in Israel strengthened my English and showed me advanced technology in agricultural production firsthand.
Returning to familiar BI responsibilities marked a clear decision: data and Business Intelligence were the professional field I wanted to pursue for the long term.
A period of graduate study broadened my view of data and clarified the professional direction I wanted to follow, even though I did not complete the program.
I developed Sales and Marketing reports, with a focus on building Oracle-based ETL pipelines that turned operational data into reliable information for business decisions.
Working on the BI platform project gave me end-to-end exposure to IBM's enterprise data and analytics ecosystem, alongside a first leadership role in a data warehouse team.
Nearly six defining years across the complete BI delivery lifecycle: source-system analysis, ETL, data warehouse architecture, analytical models, cubes, and reporting systems. It deepened my expertise and commitment to the discipline.
I am independently designing and building a new BI platform from the ground up for automotive dealerships. The current mission is an Agentic Business Intelligence Platform: AI integrated deeply across every layer to help people understand data, make decisions, and take action.
More than a decade of data experience, hands-on engineering, and architectural thinking now meet an active curiosity about AI. The goal remains practical: build systems that actively help people use data well.
